Lion Pack Trip a HUGE Success!
Greg Lindholm of Greenview, Ca. (winner of the first annual Fort Jones Lions Club Pack Trip Raffle, enjoyed five days in the Marble Mountains accompanied by sons Doug of Oregon, and Dan, from Nevada. S & E Outfitters, of Fort Jones, Ca., provided outstanding pack services. Camp was established at Sky High Lake before Lindholm’s arrival September 25th. A boat was provided for lake fishing and the Lindholm’s enjoyed deer hunting, day hiking, and good old relaxation. A camp crew of three volunteers Lion’s set up camp and provided all food and food preparation as well as camp maintenance. Greg Lindholm stated: “everything was beyond our expectations.” The Fort Jones Lions Club plans to make this an annual event and all net proceeds from this raffle will be used to support the clubs scholarship fund. The Fort Jones Lions would like to thank all who participated in the raffle and the community will certainly see the benefits obtained.
